Setting up tables and decorations
Food preparation and cooking
Serving meals and spreading cheer
Event cleanup
Your time and willingness to volunteer, even for a few hours, can bring joy to our special guests. Let’s come together to spread kindness.

This cherished event is once again sponsored by the David Flanigan Family in partnership with the Parks & Recreation Department. For more than 20 years, the Flanigan family has been honored to continue the tradition of preparing a special meal for individuals with special needs and their families/caregivers. Mr. David Flanigan had a passionate heart for this program and a deep love for individuals with special needs. His kindness overflowed into everything he cooked. Now, Denise, Davina, and Chad proudly carry on his legacy with the same loving and compassionate spirit. This event is open to all individuals with special needs and their families. To be a featured guest, please sign up through the Henry County website under the Recreation tab and be receiving services from Therapeutic Recreation. Join us as we welcome children and adults with disabilities—and their families—for an evening filled with festive food, warmth, and community.
